“Chwani Ni Nini?”: Apostle Ng’ang’a Says Sheng’ is Demonic Language
Apostle James Maina Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism Centre says sheng’ is a language of conmen. In a recent sermon shared online, the televangelist called out Christians to avoid using it.
Apostle Ng’ang’a explained that true Christians don’t use confusing language like sheng. He said the language carries demonic words.
In his statement, he listed several sheng’ words used in the street to explain that normal people don’t use such words or phrases in conversations.

“Ukishaokoka hicho Kiswahili cha wakora cha ‘uta-do, manze unaachana nacho. Those are demons.” Apostle Ng’ang’a stated, advising born-again Christians to avoid Sheng.
“Huwezi ukaongea manze, buda sijui nini takataka…sasa ukiongea manze, buda si unipe chwani…sijui chwani ni nini hata. Mimi nitakupiga ngumi nyuma ushtuke…pepo unaongea ushetani hapa. Nilisikia hamnipendi na msinipende.” He added.
Apostle Ng’ang’a added that one who is born-again doesn’t use Sheng. “Utaongea language ambayo watu wote wataelewa. Siyo ya wakora. Wale mmeokoka badilisheni characters. Wale mnataka kuwa matajiri, badilisheni characters. Token kwa ulafi na kwa kuhangaika. “He advised.

“Mungu akibariki usisahau maringo. Nunua nguo ukae vizuri ndipo watu waone Mungu wako. Sasa kama mimi sitavaa dhahabu utamjuaje Mungu wangu? Mpaka niendeshe gari nzuri, nivae nguo nzuri na nitembee na maringo. Wewe mwenye hunipendi, kufa,” The man of the cloth added.
