“Leave him alone. What’s wrong with you?” Pastor Dorcas pleaded with journalists after they wanted to ask DP Gachagua more questions following his public address.

In his public address after his impromptu impeachment, DP Gachagua stated that the impeachment process never followed the court orders and the constitution.

He further stated that what made President Ruto plot for his impeachment was because of him being a truthful man. Gachagua said he was used to telling Ruto the truth about his government but allegedly, he never took heed of his pieces of advice.

However, he urged President Ruto to leave him and his family after two failed assassination attempts in Kisumu and Nyeri by food poisoning.

“My brother President William Ruto, I  helped you become the president. Leave alone. Leave my children alone. Please do whatever you want but let me leave. Let me look after my children. You can do whatever you want with the country but allow me to leave because I was there for you when you needed somebody to be there for you,” Gachagua pleaded with Ruto.
