Kenya’s gospel musician Ringtone Apoko has called out Cassypool Capon and KRG The Don following their failure to attend the funeral ceremony of Mr. Seed’s mother.

In his speech at the funeral over the weekend, Ringtone Apoko blasted the vocal dancehall artiste KRG by stating that he usually brags about his riches yet failed to attend the funeral ceremony of their fellow artist’s mother.

Ringtone Apoko stated that if Cassypool and KRG loved fellow artists, they could have shown Mr. Seed support by attending the funeral ceremony in Siaya County.

“KRG unajifanyanga uko na pesa. Kwa nini hungepanda chopper ufike hapa? Cassypool unapiga mdomo Biashara Street, kwa nini huwezi ukasupport wasanii?” Apoko posed.

Apoko went ahead and sampled out secular artists including Khaligraph Jones, Nadia Mukami and other artists for not standing with Mr. Seed as he grieved his late mother.

Na wale watu wote mpo huko Nairobi mnapiga mdomo, lazma wasanii wa Kenya tusaidiane na tusapotiane. Wasanii wa secular, Khaligraph, Nadia na wengine mpo wapi? Sauti Sol mpo wapi? Lazma tusaidiane kama Wasanii wa Tanzania huko kwao vile wao husaidiana,” he stated.

Mr. Seed’s mother Teresa Auma died in August after a long illness and was later buried on September 14th in Siaya County.
