Jeridah Andayi: Don't Make Budget With Other People's Money

Renowned Radio presenter Jeridah Andayi has warned her daughter against budgeting with other people’s money.

The seasoned broadcaster has advised her daughter, Norah, to only spend money that only belongs to her. She added that she needs to have the money first to plan on how to spend it.

In the video she shared on her Instagram page, Jeridah Andayi told Norah not to spend money because she thinks her parents have. In addition, the radio veteran advised that parents should not raise kids for payback but should do it because it is their responsibility.

“The thing about money is you can only spend money you have. Don’t go spending money because you think your mother has. You only spend money that you have, that is yours. You don’t make a budget with other people’s money. You can’t do that! Pesa yangu si pesa yako ya kubudgetia,” she explained.

Norah is her second-born teenage daughter who joined high school this year. Jeridah who mostly shares parenting insights on her YouTube channel has advised parents to talk to their teenagers about money and the relationship between teenagers and money.

Jeridah is a mother of three, one boy and two girls. She has exposed her kids to social media despite criticism. Moreover, she creates content with them which most fans love. She explained that her kids are an integral part of her brand.

However, she has managed to keep her husband out of the limelight for many years. She took to her YouTube channel to explain that it was a conscious decision for the sake of her family.
