Victoria Rubadiri Officially Joins CNN, Larry Madowo Welcomes Her
Celebrated media personality and former Citizen TV News Anchor, Victoria Rubadiri has officially been welcomed by CNN into their newroom.
Rubadiri will take a new role at the international media house as she will host Connecting Africa. She will also be part of the newsgathering team, operating from Nairobi.
In a post shared by CNN on their X account,they welcomed her to the station as they shared her photo, where she stood next to a big screen which was written ‘Connecting Africa’.

“CNN is pleased to welcome @VickyRubadiri in a new role on it’s long-running multiplatform series Connecting Africa and as a part of the newsgathering operation in Nairobi,” CNN wrote.
Her role at CNN will be to present stories about rising and expanding enterprises in Africa, as well as investigate the effects of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement. Speaking at CNN, she said,
“I’m extremely excited for the opportunity to work at CNN and to bring my experience and passion to its global audience. Connecting Africa champions the people, projects, and companies revolutionising African business and I’m looking forward to working alongside Eleni and the team to get out on the ground and tell these stories.”

Rubadiri’s former colleague at NTV who also works at CNN, Larry Madowo also welcomed her to the station in a warm message. He stated, “Congrats and welcome to CNN, @VickyRubadiri.”
