“SAD”:Tears As Autopsy Results Of Lady Pushed From Kasarani Building Is Released
The tragic death of a 20-year-old woman, Joan Mbula Nzomo, who fell from the 10th floor of a Kasarani apartment, has initiated a thorough police investigation. The incident, shrouded in conflicting reports, occurred at the White House apartments in Thome estate, casting a somber shadow over the community.
Joan, a student at a local college, was discovered lifeless on a Saturday morning. Lawrence Gitonga, a man she had spent the night with, claimed she jumped off the balcony after a heated argument.
However, skepticism arose from both apartment residents and the grieving family. They recounted hearing screams, a loud thud, and observed bloodstains on the balcony railing and bed sheets, suggesting a potential struggle.

An autopsy conducted on Monday unveiled that Nzomo’s demise resulted from blunt trauma due to the fall from the Kasarani 10th floor. Contrary to initial media reports, there were no stab wounds, but the report did highlight bruises on her neck and chest, leaving the possibility of foul play open.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) took Gitonga into custody for further questioning. Exhibits collected from the scene include the aforementioned bloody bed sheets, a knife, and a mobile phone.
Additionally, the investigators are scrutinizing CCTV footage from the apartment to piece together the movements of the couple leading up to the tragic incident.
