Kenyan celebrities have taken to social media to console late actor Charles Ouda ‘s fiance Ciru Muriuki, his family and close acquaintances.
Charles Ouda, who is a former Makutano Junction actor died on the night of Saturday, February 3.
News of his sudden demise was first made public by his family who pleaded with the public to accord them the much-needed privacy during this trying time.

Kenyans Mourn Charles Ouda
News of Ouda’s death shook the entire country with countless people including his colleagues and fans taking to different social media platforms to mourn him.

Mideyah Digital understands Charles Ouda died at 38.
The actor’s family broke the sad news through a heartfelt statement on social media.
“It is with deep sorrow that the family of Charles ‘Charlie’ J. Ouda and Ciru Muriuki inform you of his passing on the night of February 3, 2024. He was a beloved son, brother and friend. Charlie was 38 years old. We appeal to all to give his fiancée Ciru, and the Oudas space to grieve this unfathomable loss. More details will be given in due course. Once again, we urge all to respect the privacy of those involved.” The statement read in part.
The cause of his death is yet to be disclosed.
