“Hakutaka Kunipea”: Actress Nyaboke Reveals How Adding Weight Affected Her Marriage

Nyaboke Moraa, a Kenyan actress has opened up on how her first marriage took a toll on her mental health until she called it a quit.In a live talk shared on social media, Nyaboke Moraa said when she entered marriage as a young woman, life was sweet at the beginning but things started going wrong when she added weight. The Abagusii actress Nyaboke Moraa claims her husband started mistreating her after realising she had added weight after giving birth to her second child.
According to the local actress, she got married as a slim girl but after giving birth to her second child, her weight shot to 80 kg. That made the husband find her unattractive and hate her. A times, she alleges her husband could have intimacy with her unwillingly, something that instilled more mental stress in her.
“Hiyo shamukwale hakuwa anataka kunipea. Anakupea kiwasiwasi, mbaya mbaya si vile alikuwa anakupea juu umeongeza mtoto wa pili ukanona. Anakuona wewe ni mweusi.” She said.

The mother of two added that, besides the hate brought about after adding weight, her baby daddy reached a time where he started barring her from attending acting shows. According to her, there was a time when her husband threatened to beat her in case she dared raise issues concerning acting shows.
“Nitakupiga hiyo face hutawahi itwa kazi siku nyingine” she disclosed the threats she went through.

Besides her weight gain and acting threats, she claims her husband went further and started shooting shots at Side Chicks who never had respect for her. She therefore authoritatively claims that having everything or being able to access whatever one wants is not enough; Money is not everything in marriage but peace and love conquer it all.
