Central Organization of Trade Unions (COTU) Secretary General Francis Atwoli’s son Livingston Lumasai Atwoli has been entangled in controversy after a man came out to accuse him of assault.

The victim, identified as Keya Mukoto accused Lumasai of causing grievous bodily harm on him on the night of Saturday, January 13.

According to Keya Mukoto, he has been friends with Lumasai Atwoli for the longest time and was shocked to be attacked by someone he has known for ages.

The injured man informed his followers that he was driving his Mercedes Benz at the time of making the Facebook post and urged any good samaritan who would bump into him to take him to the hospital.

Mukoto wrapped up by informing the public that Lumasai Atwoli should be held responsible should he lose his life.

“Good people, I have been assaulted by someone I have known for a long time Livingston Maasai Atwoli, I am bleeding badly and am driving in a Mercedes Benz KBL 983V should you see me your way please take me to a hospital! If I die please know that I have been killed by Livingston Maasai!” Keya Mukoto wrote.

The attack against Keya Mukoto was shared widely on social media in a move that saw many Kenyans come out to condemn Lumasai as they urged police to take action against him.

Mideyah Digital understands that this is not the first time Lumasai has caused a public uproar with his barbaric behaviour.

In September 2023, Lumasai was dragged online after a video showing him causing a disturbance at Nyayo Estate emerged.

It was reported that Lumasai had been giving Nyayo Residents sleepless nights with countless of his unruly behaviour.
