Celebrated Naija music songstress Tiwa Savage is seeking police intervention after allegedly receiving threats on her life from fellow musician Davido.
Mideyah Digital has learnt Tiwa Savage has written to the Commissioner of Police Lagos State Command, urging him to allow the police force to look into the issue and investigate the case.
In her letter to the police boss, the Girlie O singer attached images of the conversations in which Davido threatened her life on social media.

According to Tiwa Savage, she received a threatening message from Davido moments after she had posted a video of herself at a party with the mother of the singer’s first daughter Sophia Momodu.
Tiwa Savage, through her letter to police, disclosed that Davido informed her that he felt ridiculed and mocked by the video which has been shared by the former.
The songstress disclosed that she received threats from Davido through their mutual connections.
Tiwa noted that Davido had categorically stated that she should be careful while in Lagos.
This publication understands Davido and his baby mama Sophia were not on talking terms at the time Tiwa Savage shared the video online.

Tiwa Savage’s legal move comes barely hours after her ex-husband, Tunji Balogun, popularly known as Tee Billz, called out Davido for allegedly disrespecting his family.
Taking to his official Instagram page on Monday, January 8, Tee Billz complained that Davido disrespected his family despite having shown him love for the longest time now.
“After the love Jamil, the mother of my son and I has (sic) shown towards your daughter…… my family is the last one you will ever disrespect in Nigeria,” Tee Billz wrote.
“You’ve been getting away with disrespect DAVID ADELKE……. I’m not Uncle Dele, Amaju & Co…. I will teach you a lesson on their behalf,” he added.
