Manchester United Dutch manager Erik Ten Hag has been under pressure as his club has been recording wanting results so far this season.

 

United who are the reigning Champions of Carabao Cup got knocked out in early November by Newcastle United at Old Trafford with a 3-0 defeat.

 

Afterward, Manchester United were also knocked out of the Champions League in the group stage after finishing last in their Group A standing.

Last weekend Manchester United travelled to London Stadium to face Westham United where they suffered a 2-0 loss exerting more pressure on coach Erik Ten Hag.

 

On a Boxing Day night, United welcomed Aston Villa in another Premier League clash a match that was a MUST win to Manchester United players, fans, and Erik ten Hag.

 

In the first 45 minutes of the match, United were trailing 2-0 at home after McGinn and Dendocker scored for Unai Emery’s side.

During the first half, Aston Villa fans were chanting at Ten Hag saying; “You’re getting sacked in the morning.”

 

Only for Manchester United to stage a second-half comeback with Alejandro Garnacho scoring a brace and Danish international Rasmus Højlund scoring the third goal for United and his first goal in the Premier League.

 

United scooped all three points and moved to position 6 with 31 points which is a huge relief to Dutchman Erik Ten Hag.
