Manchester United suffers a 2-0 loss in the hands of Westham United making it their 8th defeat in the Premier League after only 18 rounds of the 2023/24 campaign.

 

United dominated the first half at London Stadium forcing a goalless first half.

 

United who started a pair of 35-year-old Jonny Evans and Academic graduate Willy Kambwala as their centre-backs with Raphael Varane who had an outstanding performance last weekend against Liverpool, was ruled out in today’s match through illness.

This result means Manchester United have dropped to 8th position with only 28 points while Westham’s win today moves them to the top 6 with 30 points after 18 matches of the first leg.
