A section of Kenyan gospel musicians has proved many people wrong after confirming that they are still united contrary to earlier reports.

For the longest time now, there have been murmurs about how gospel artists in Kenyans do not love each other and cannot support their colleagues in their time of need.

However, a group of notable gospel artists recently confirmed otherwise after coming through for one of their own, gospel singer and Minister Lady Bee.

Mideyah Digital has learnt that a number of big-time gospel artists raised funds and handed them to Lady Bee to console her after losing her house in the Mavoko demolition saga.

According to one of Lady Bee’s recent online posts, artists such as Anastacia Mukabwa, Betty Bayo, Pitson, Size 8 Evelyn Wanjiru, Sammy Dee, and others thought it wise to boost their colleague with some cash.

Lady Bee posted a video of herself receiving an envelope filled with money, followed by a long appreciation post dedicated to God and her brothers and sisters in Christ.

“See what they did to me 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I can’t keep calm 😭😭😭😭😭😭 what my fellow ministers did for me 😭😭😭😭 My Brothers and Sisters @annastaciakiatukivue @evelynwanjiru_a @rosemarynjage @bettybayo_official @size8reborn @evebahatimusic @houseofzippy @millywajesus @kanze_dena my brothers @therealpitson @chriskirwa @sammydee @kwatemba 😭😭😭😭😭😭 I can’t recover from what you have done, may the Lord who saved me reward you for me,may He settle you in whatever area you’re trusting Him, may He give you a testmony that will shock you as you’ve done for me, thank you is not even enough, this is what we all need, to have friends who can cry with you and rejoice which is not common this days, people rejoice when you’re crying even those you calling friends can shock you, people don’t care anymore about others, people end up depressed and end up to drinking or even loosing hope completely but that has not been my case, by the mercies of God, God used you mighty to stand with me not only in prayers but in deeds in action, am so grateful, thank you for allowing God to use you to be Aron who held Moses hand up and victory was evident, thank you all for the Labour of Love.. Many people who interacted with the post on Instagram could not help but laud the gospel artists who stood with Lady Bee after losing his house.

Mideyah Digital understands Lady Bee is among hundreds of distraught Kenyans affected by the house-demolishing spree which engulfed Athi River area a couple of weeks ago.

The demolition left many Kenyans in limbo, homeless, and despondent as bulldozers demolished their homes built on land alleged to belong to the East African Portland Cement PLC.
