Konshens Reveals Why He Never Gave Late Mowzey Radio’s Mother Money

Jamaican dancehall Konshens has clarified on why he never gave out money as condolences when he visited late Mowzey Radio’s mother.
Real name Garfield Delano Spence had visited Uganda to perform at Blankets and Wine Event but due to his love for Radio & Weasel crew, he opted to pay tribute to late Mowzey Radio at Wakiso District.
While at the late Mowzey Radio’s grounds where he was buried, Konshens met the late’s family and was directed to put flowers on the grave.

However, Ugandans raised eyebrows on social media by criticizing Konshen for not giving monetary money to the late Mowzey Radio’s mother as a sign of paying tribute.

Further, they laid blame on Konshens for not inviting Weasel, music partner to late Mowzey Radio to accompany him at Mowzey Radio’s grave.
Social media criticism without going far, Konshens addressed the matter on media by claiming cultures differ and he never knew in Uganda people sent condolences in form of money.

“I don’t know if that’s a regular or cultural thing in Uganda but that’s not a cultural thing where I come from,—my thing was out of respect and if that was the proper way to do it, am sorry.” Konshens said.
To Weasel, he apologised for not inviting him for accompaniment which Radio & Weasel has accepted the apology and advised him to shy away from Ugandan social media criticism.
