Church Suspends Man With Dreadlocks Till He Cuts His Hair

Dreadlocked man has been indefinitely suspended from church for failing to cut his hair.
Azaza real name Emeka Elumezie shared the letter on his social handles sparking mixed reactions from netizens.
In the letter, church authority say the victim had been engaged in talks over decent look but seemed adamant to adhere.
It further say Azaza had been taught church doctrines and preached to but never change.
“We find it difficult that you have failed to live up the christian standards in your appearance ” reads the letter in part.

According to netizens, Church of Christ located in Jakande Estate in Lagos demand members to look decent as true christians.
Dreadlocked men appearing before the church are indecent before God according to its doctrines.
For Emeka, his dyed dreadlocks not only made him look indecent in church but also germinated the seed of spiritual defilement.

As noted in the statement, Emeka was told to cut his hair before being allowed to minister in the church or never attend sermons at the church.
