FKF Signs Deal With KBC

The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has officially signed a 7 year-deal with Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) as its Free-to-Air broadcast partner for the FKF Premier League matches.

 

This seven-year deal goes parallel to the duration of the agreement with pay television partner Azam TV which was signed in the beginning of the 2023/24 season as official broadcaster of FKF Premier League.

 

The deal entails of the following; for a Premier League season, the federation is planned to receive Ksh. 191Million with a subsequent yearly increment of USD 100,000 (Ksh. 10 Million).

The national television (KBC) will broadcast a total of 68 matches, featuring two matches every week, across its TV and Radio stations.

 

The national broadcaster will commence airing FKF Premier League matches starting from matchday 13 which is this weekend of 2nd and 3rd of December 2023.

 

Each club participating in the FKF Premier League will bag Ksh.10 Million per year from the deal.
