Murang’a Man Kills Mother Over Ugali
Patrick Irungu,a 36 Year old man from Murang’a,Gaturo village has brought grief to his family members after killing his 68-year-old mom over ugali.
It is said that Irungu wanted the mother to cook ugali but she prepared bananas which Irungu was not happy with.
He went on and took a machete which he used to behead his mother all in the name of not having cooked ugali.

The Deputy County Commissioner,Mr Gitonga Murungi said that the two were heard having a heated argument then the neighbors heard a scream and that is when they went to find out what was happening,only to find the 68 year old mother lying on her own pool of blood.
“Neighbours apprehended the man in a nearby thicket and subjected him to mob justice resulting to his death”says Mr Gitonga Murungi.

Mr Murungi said that the suspect had already gotten rid of the murder weapon by the time he was apprehended by the mob.
