Kenyan Gospel singer Veronica Wanja, popularly known as Nicah The Queen, has shared that she and her fiancé, DJ Slahver, have mutually decided to part ways.
“After much consideration… Slahver and I have decided to go our separate ways. Thank you all for the love you’ve shown us! Tunawapenda,” wrote Wanja.
The couple who had been in a relationship for two years got engaged in May.

Earlier this year, in an interview with local a media, the couple revealed that they vowed to never engage in any sexual activity until they get married.
DJ Slahver stated, “Our relationship has been anchored in friendship. That means intimacy is not the primary focus.”
This is not the first time the two are announcing their separation to the world.
In 2022, Nicah took to Instagram to announce a previous breakup, citing a loss of love.

“Slahver and I have decided to call it quits and go our separate ways! People can fall in love, and they can also fall out. All in all, we move on regardless! I wish him nothing but the best,” she shared.
Before her relationship with DJ Slahver, Nicah was previously married to Kenyan media personality Dr. Ofweneke.
Their marriage ended dramatically in March 2017, with Nicah accusing Ofweneke of physical abuse, while Ofweneke claimed Nicah was unfaithful.

Despite their past, the former couple has been committed to co-parenting their daughter since then.
