Harambee Stars set to face Sychelles on Monday at 10pm
After Harambee Stars kicking off their 2026 World cup qualifiers campaign in a defeat in the hands of Gabon. Kenya will look to turn things around tonight as they lock horns with Seychelles in round 2 of Group F world cup qualifiers at Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
Both teams are coming off the back of a loss in their opening game. Kenya gave up a first-half lead to go down 2-1 to Gabon, whereas Seychelles suffered their historic defeat of 9-0 by Ivory Coast. It was their biggest loss in history as the Pirates were completely humiliated by a rampant Elephants side. This was also their sixth consecutive defeat in all competitions.

Both head coaches Engin Firat and Vivian the are expected to make several changes to their starting line-ups as they look to pick themselves up after a round 1 defeats. As things stands, Seychelles are at the bottom of Group F of the qualifiers, owing to a goal difference of -9, while Kenya are right above them in fifth.
