EPRA To Announce New Fuel Prices Tomorrow

The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) is set to announce new fuel prices tomorrow 30th June,2023.

This comes after the President assented on the Finance Bill making it a law. In the now Finance Act, 16%VAT on fuel is set to be effected and this will see an increase in fuel prices.

“On 26th June 2023, H.E. the President Dr. William Ruto signed into law the Finance Bill, 2023 introducing a 16 percent VAT on petroleum products.” The energy body wrote

Previously fuel was subjected to a 8% VAT.
