Gor Mahia Defeats Ulinzi Stars To Top The Table

Gor Mahia defeated Ulinzi Stars 2-0 at Kasarani to take control of the title race.
With just two games remaining for the FKF premier league to conclude, Gor Mahia have now leapfrogged Tusker at the top of the table.
Kogalo got the win thanks to a first half brace from midfielder Austin Odhiambo. The win puts the team now two points ahead of Tusker who lost their game against Wazito.
Gor Mahia now has 67 points from 32 games played, while Tusker is closing in on second place with 65 points from 32 games played.
Speaking after the win Gor Mahia head coach Jonathan McKinstry was happy with his team’s performance.
“We are happy to be back at the top. We played a good match, and I believe we can maintain the momentum in our remaining matches,”. “We had a serious discussion as a team after our match against Tusker at Nyayo Stadium the other week, and we agreed on a few things that influenced the outcome of today’s match,” he said.
