Home » Chelsea Cancels End Of Season Awards

Chelsea has opted to cancel its season-ending awards ceremony following a terrible season.

The Blues are expected to finish the Premier League season outside of the top 10 with their lowest-ever divisional point tally. Even if they win their final two games, they are now in 12th place with 43 points and will not be able to meet the 50-point threshold.

The men’s team has been very poor under Graham Potter, who managed to take over from Tuchel, and now they have been forced to cancel the awards due to the poor performances. They have not been able to host the awards physically since COVID-19 hit back in 2019.

However, the women’s team has had a good season, and they can win the Women’s Super League if they beat Reading during the weekend. They have also won the FA after beating Manchester United.

Chelsea will travel to Manchester United on Thursday before facing Newcastle on the last day of the season.
