Tik Tok CEO: I Don’t Allow My Children To Use The App

Tik Tok CEO Shou Zi Chew has come out to openly declare that he does not allow his children to use TikTok App.
Speaking in an interview during The New York Times’ DealBook conference, Shou said his two children of ages 6 and 8 don’t have accounts because they are too young.
“TikTok, here in the U.S., if you are below 13, you get a very restrictive version of TikTok, and in many other countries around the world, we don’t allow users who are below 13.”
His confession has attracted mixed reactions internationally as some claimed he knows the harm that comes with the app while others heaped praises on him for his good parental skills.
